Headless Motion & Programmatic Video.
Eliminating After Effects rendering friction. How I built a headless video studio using HyperFrames, GSAP, and ffmpeg to generate 60fps multi-device mockups and neural avatar product videos with zero compression banding.
Frame-by-frame Puppeteer capture rendering deterministic SVG and GSAP ease curves.
Lossless concatenation via ffmpeg -c copy preserving native pixels.
Configurable responsive pairings: Laptop+Phone, Tablet+Phone, Browser Window, and Isolated Device.
Zero dark gradient banding artifacts via calibrated light-first brand canvas.
The Anti-Banding Rule: Why We Enforce a Light-First Canvas.
In digital motion design, subtle dark gradients look gorgeous on an OLED screen in Figma, but fall apart completely when encoded into standard web video. H.264 and H.265 compression algorithms group near-black shades into unsightly blocky bands.
Compressor creates stepped contour lines (color banding) across radial dark gradients. Result: video looks pixelated and amateur on LinkedIn, Twitter, and website embeds.
